Yurts

We have two yurts - Moonlight and Stardust. Each sleeping 4 comfortably, both are equipped with 1 double bed, 2 single futons and a wood burner. Bedding and linen are provided as well as all manner of cooking and culinary implements. Each have their own paddock for play and their own BBQ and gas cookers, outside tables and chairs, separate bathrooms and kitchen areas.

Set in a 2 acre paddock with easy access to the coastal footpath and secluded coves. Just follow the fishing buoys! A perfect spot to relax and unwind. To the front of each yurt there are fantastic panoramic views over the farm to the nearby coastal footpath which is a short 3-4 minute stroll away. To the back of the yurts, there is a wooded dell where red squirrels can sometimes be seen. The Island is one of the few places in England where red squirrels can still be found. Inside the yurts, look up through the roof to star gaze – negligible light pollution and no sounds from traffic or cars make it easy to unwind here.

Nearby there is a separate old stone farm building housing 2 shower rooms - one for each yurt. Each yurt also has the use of its own small wooden kitchen cabin with a sink, fridge and microwave. 'The Lookout' is a nearby walled area with spectacular sea views and is a fabulous spot to sit and relax in the evening, ideal for a BBQ. There is also a pizza oven for guests to use.

There are plenty of communal play areas including a large play field with pitch and putt golf and football, the indoor Wallaby Games Barn with table tennis and table football and an outdoor play area with swings and a slide.

You will experience a relaxing stay in a peaceful location with all-inclusive creature comforts in our yurts. If you are looking for a place to have a noisy party with loud music, Bank End Farm is not for you, but is ideal for family groups or couples wanting to relax. A place to truly recharge your batteries and make memories and then be lulled to sleep by the lapping of the waves in the coves below the farm.

Our Yurts are available to rent from 1st April to 30th September.
