Beachcombers
Great location for access to the coastal Path, Botanical Gardens and Steephill Cove.
We came for a family Christmas week. The cottage was very tastefully decorated. This is a great cottage in a great location.
Just to let you know that we enjoyed our stay in Beachcombers last week so much, we are already missing the view. Thank you for the bottle of wine, a most welcome surprise. Hope to make a return visit one day.
The best self catering we’ve stayed in. The children have loved their holiday. The owners are friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. Granny and Grandpa loved being with us but having their own space opposite was perfect. Loved being so near the sea. Children liked the games room and freedom to explore. Wonderful.
Totally faultless. Our first Christmas away in 30 years, but as good as home. Clean, very welcoming, (the Christmas tree a great touch) would recommend to anyone. Thanks.
Just wanted to let you know what a fantastic time we had at Beachcombers (5th – 12th July). It was absolutely the perfect spot and oh, those wonderful views! Although we have a little baby, she loved going out in the baby carrier along the coastal path so we got to do some walking (as we did before she was born), albeit not too far. Beachcombers were wonderful – well done for decorating and equipping it to such a high standard.
Lobster Pot
Fantastic holiday in the Lobster Pot. Owners could not do enough to make our stay comfortable and supplies two travel cots and highchairs and stairgates for 2 year old twins. Lovely accommodation for a family and very well equipped. Lovely location and the rest of the family rented the other two cottages so made a brilliant family holiday with all separate facilities.
Fantastic time, great holiday, helpful hosts. We couldn’t have asked for more!
We’ve had a wonderful holiday. Beautiful and well equipped cottage, in a perfect location. We loved walking to Steephill Cove and Orchard Bay as well as exploring some of the sites and attractions of the Island. Can’t wait to return!
Fishermans Cottage
The cottage though small was perfect for my husband, dog and I. It was a peaceful, relaxing break. I would highly recommend this cottage or any others located here.
The cottage is situated in the most picturesque environment, looking across a field to the sea. The coastal path is right on the doorstep, perfect for walking and exploring. The peace, tranquility and beauty of the area is priceless. The cottage was absolutely fine for us, the outdoor area with barbecue is a bonus. Sitting with a glass of something ice cold watching passing boats and ships adds to this relaxing little retreat. We would highly recommended.
The cottage is in a fabulous location, and is just ideal for a couple with a pet, as the coastal path is within walking distance. The owner's brochure gave good information about the local amenities, although there was no information about bin collection days, (perhaps they put them out at the end of the letting). Also, due to the size of the property there was no hoover on site, so we were unable to clean up before we left, but once again I suspect that this was done by the cleaning lady on the changeover date.

Great view of the sea - short walk along coastal path to the beach.
The place is beautiful. Clean, and well kept accommodation with superb views and very friendly owners. Play area very handy for occupying the children.

Swifts
Swifts was a nice, pleasant place to spend a weekend. Main attraction was the garden which was completely secluded and not overlooked by anyone. Also like the nature trail and the access to coastal pathways behind the cottage.
Excellent for older guests, being on one level and having so much space, especially in sitting room.
Yurts
This place is a hidden gem! I stayed at the Stardust Yurt with my family and we all greatly enjoyed our time there. The place has much more to offer than I imagined. There is a playground, a " Pirate ship" play area, a swing, lots of toys, a whole library of kids literature, plus a donkey and a pony and a games room, a fab pizza oven and lots and lots of space. Plus the coastal path is very close so the beaches and Ventnor Botanical Gardens are within walking distance. The views are fantastic and the moon and the sea are mesmerising. My four year old had a blast and loved every moment of it.I will be sure to come back and bring friends to stay in the other yurt. Last but not least Penny has been very helpful in the run up to our stay, I cannot recommend this enough.
